Employees and what we read

What 20xwork reads, and what it never reads

In short

It reads how work is done in the tools your organisation connects. It never records screens, keystrokes, private messages or personal accounts.

20xwork is built to help each employee get more from the tools they already have. That only works if people trust what it sees. So the lines are firm.

It reads

  • Activity in work tools your organisation has connected, at the record level: for example, a Salesforce opportunity's stage, next step and update time.
  • Usage logs of AI assistants that your organisation exports to us, such as which features were used and how often.
  • Process definitions your organisation provides.
  • The task a person starts in their assistant when 20xwork is connected, for the moment it takes to build the card.

It never reads

  • Screens, keystrokes, clipboard or webcam.
  • Personal accounts, personal devices or tools outside the ones your organisation connects.
  • Private messages between people. Chat is read only where your organisation connects a channel for delivery, and then only the channel it delivers to.
  • Content unrelated to the step being measured. We derive signals, we do not warehouse documents.

Employees can see their own profile. Every person can see what 20xwork has read about their work, what it recommended, and how their standing is computed. Nothing is hidden from the person it is about.

For coaching, not for discipline. Our terms require that 20xwork profiles are used to guide and develop people, and not as the sole basis for disciplinary or termination decisions. We will help you brief works councils and employee representatives.

Have a questionnaire to fill in?

Send us your SIG, CAIQ or your own template and we will return it completed, with our penetration test summary and policies under NDA.
